It was in recent years that Vancouver Island first experienced the birth of an opera that is popularly known as Vancouver Island Opera, it was under this opera that several other branches such as Opera in Schools Branch, Touring Branch and the Nanaimo Branch were opened. Vancouver Island Opera provides a platform for aspiring young artists to showcase their talents, this opera brings much enjoyment, not only to local residents but to tourists and visitors who visit Vancouver Island, Vancouver Island Opera's main goal is to promote the performance of opera shows in various other countries and communities.
