Vancouver Island has many trails where cyclists can enjoy Vancouver Island's natural beauty and wilderness, there are several cycling trails across the southern, northern and centre of Vancouver Island, you can plan a day trip from Greenwood East to Eholt, the total distance is approximately 12 km one way.

If you want you can start from the City park campsite located in the heart of Greenwood and head east out of the city, the trail is a bit hilly and it passes through some private agricultural lands, so be cautious while passing through, the route is mainly hard packed gravel, the trail also passes through the Western Railway area, your sure to enjoy all the beauty and charm of riding a bicycle through Vancouver Island's countryside.
