At the McLean Steam Sawmil you can experience the excitement of the only steam operated sawmill in Canada, once here you can explore buildings and the various logging equipment and buildings, after looking aroung the buildings, you can relax by sipping a cappuccino at the Steam Pot Café or take time to take a look around the nearby gift shop and bring home some souvenirs of your memorable visit to the steam sawmill.
The McLean Steam Sawmill reflects the memories of the people that lived and worked there and has been marked as a National Historic Site since 1989 and was named as a Historic site in order to commemorate the history of logging and saw milling in British Columbia, in 1995 reconstruction and maintenance work was carried out and now the McLean Steam Sawmil offers tourists even more.
